Jemmott Duncan was born to Pastor William and Eula Duncan in 1969. He was born in the Summer and he is a true outdoorsman who enjoys time in the Sun playing golf, fishing, camping, and playing with kids.
As a student-athlete Jemmott was able to receive a scholarship to play golf with the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls in Charlotte, NC. He was a graduate of Woodmont High School in Piedmont, SC where he led the team as one of few African American golfers at the time.
Jemmott successfully completed the dual-degree program with Clemson University and earned an Electrical Engineering degree. His engineering career began in 1994 with then newly built BMW Manufacturing in Greer, SC. Jemmott has served there ever since, including several multi-year projects in Germany.
Pastor Emanuel Allen Duncan was conceived by Pastor W.L.C. and Eula Duncan in the mid-70’s in NY with a difficult delivery as a 9lb. 14 oz. breech baby. From an early age he was unique and God was with him.
The young man excelled in academics and athletics. He played organized football, basketball, and golf while also participating in challenge programs, International Baccalaureate education, and Advance Placement classes. Emanuel graduated from Woodmont High School, where he met his wife to be, Jennifer Earl. After completing a dual-degree program with the College of Charleston and Clemson University he became an Associate Engineer with Mitsubishi Polyester Film in Greer, SC. His degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering respectively afforded him many opportunities to impact the corporate world.

Youth Minister Antoine Donte’ Paden was born Oct. 13 1986 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S.C. As an adolescent, he loved to write poetry, play football, and basketball. Later on he began to write rhymes with his childhood friends. While attending League Academy middle school something else captured Antoine’s attention when he came to visit Gethsemane Baptist Church on a Wednesday night, the word of God.
Eventually he became a member at G.B.C. and married his friend who was also a member of the local church, Yolonda A. Bostic (Dec. 5, 2009).
Antoine graduated from Berea High school in June of 2006. He pursued his education while attending ECPI University and earned his associates degree in Business Administration in June of 2009.
He is currently utilizing his business skills at BMW Manufacturing. He is also enrolled in online seminary at Liberty University, majoring in Religion to become better equipped for ministry. Minister Antoine was licensed as a minister of the gospel on August 31, 2014.
Yolonda Adell (Bostic) Paden was born August 6, 1984 in Greenville, SC to Greg Neely and Shelton N. (Bostic) Shaw. When Yolonda’s mother married the late Haskel Shaw she became the oldest of five siblings.
Currently Yolonda is a member of the Gethsemane Baptist Church where Emanuel Allen Duncan is Pastor. She has been given leadership over the Women’s Ministry where her mission is to help & seek out hurting women of all ages. Yolonda is also a minister in training with a mission to take the Word of God to the lost.
While attending Gethsemane Yolonda met her husband and ministry partner. On December 5, 2009, Yolonda married Antoine Donte Paden who was a longtime friend.
